Can A Person Be Saved In A Denomination?

in Gospel Meetings, Salvation, The Church, Videos

This is one of the Bible Q-n-A FAQs I addressed at a gospel meeting for the Commerce church of Christ in Commerce, GA.

One of the most common questions I get is whether I really believe that all the denominations are lost. It certainly is not a question that I enjoy having to address, though it is an extremely important and urgent one. It is heartbreaking to see so many people deceived into thinking that their man-made unscriptural religions can be pleasing to God and can lead them to salvation in the end.

I pray that when you watch this video it will challenge you to really examine your current religion in the light of scripture.

Thanks for addressing this predicament that the world has found itself. As usual we must face if we are of God or of ourselves. The world sees Christianity as so mixed up. We indeed have a need to clarify that the Lord died on the cross and shed his blood for those who would listen to God, believe, repent, confess & be baptized thus trust Him as the Son of God, He built His own church. Including His love and commandments. Sound Faith AND Sound Doctrine.
