I find this interestin Norm. According to your theology the only way to make this logical would be for one to be rebaptized. you made the following statement ” The difference between the command for the alien sinner to repent unto salvation (Acts 2:38) and the Christian’s exhortation to repent (Acts 8:22) is that the Christian is not told to be baptized after his repentance. He has already been baptized, therefore, when he sins he has already been born again and only needs to repent and ask God’s forgiveness to be restored.” Now , you said they have already been born again … yet loose there salvation… so they loose there salvation but remain born again? thats what you are saying. Now , where is that in scripture that you are born again , sin and become lost again , yet remain born again…?? let me give that a “lol” it would only make sense according to your theology that if they become lost they must become found again and this can only happen through salvation (which you say has been lost) and that can only be obtained through baptism. I always say if you give a church of christ denominational member enough rope in the conversation they will hang there self up , and this is most certainly what has happened here.
